I’m running as a way of giving back to the community that’s given so much to me. I look forward to the opportunity to help my neighbors create affordable and safe neighborhoods. Concord Heights is a great place to live because of the people who are generous, thoughtful & of the Love Your Neighbor spirit. It’d be an honor to represent you on Concord’s city council.
Our priorities:
- Tax relief for seniors and middle class working families by expanding the tax base and looking at taxing mansions and big box stores.
- Access to safe and affordable housing by breaking down the barriers that current zoning and parking, allowing additional housing on properties, eliminating housing voucher discrimination, and encouraging co-housing.
- Welcoming, livable communities with accessible playgrounds, traffic calming measures to reduce speed and accidents on Loudon Road, keeping our walkways safe for pedestrians, and protecting and expanding green spaces, and increasing natural, attractive lawns for pollinators and wildlife.
- I’ve also been a strong supporter of accessible playgrounds and am very excited that we are close to building one here in Concord. We need to create more opportunities for kids with disabilities at every chance we have.
I am a compassionate person who loves my City and neighborhood. I deeply believe in the philosophy of “Love Your Neighbor” and I would be truly honored to have the ability to serve those living in Ward 9.
